Quarto

Quarto is a strategy board game for two players. It was designed by Swiss mathematician Blaise Müller and published by Gigamic.

The goal of Quarto is to be the first to create a row of four pieces that have at least one common characteristic.

How to play Quarto

The rows of four pieces can be placed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally on a 4x4 board.

There are 16 pieces in total, each of which is a unique combination of the four pairs of characteristics listed above, creating 16 different pieces.

The first player chooses a piece and gives it to his opponent.

The opponent must place the piece on an empty square on the board.

The opponent then chooses another piece and gives it back to the first player.

The rotation continues until there is a winner or all the squares on the board are filled.

If, after placing a tile, there is a row of four tiles with at least one common feature, that player must shout "Quarto!" to win.

Have fun and good luck playing Quarto!
