Master Chess
Master Chess is an online chess game that allows you to play against a computer or people from all over the world. Your goal is to go after the enemy king, which means you have to attack him without giving him a chance to get away. Your enemies will lose if they can't stop your king from coming.
The chess board is made up of 8*8 squares, players are on opposite sides, and each has 16 pieces. You have eight pawns, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, a queen, and a king. Each piece moves differently, adding layers of strategy to the game.
Rules
- Pawns: The foot soldiers, moving one square forward (two on their first turn) and capturing diagonally.
- Rooks: powerful defenders that move vertically or horizontally across any number of empty squares.
- Knights: Agile warriors that move in an "L" shape, jumping over other pieces.
- Bishops: Diagonal dominators, moving any number of empty squares diagonally.
- Queen: The ultimate weapon, combining the moves of a rook and a bishop.
- King: The most important piece! The king can move one square in any direction, but keep it safe – checkmate (when the king is under direct attack with no escape) means defeat.
Special Moves
- Castling: A special king and rook move for added protection.
- En Passant: A unique pawn capture occurring immediately after an opposing pawn moves two squares from its starting position.
Additionally, learn more about chess strategies such as controlling the center of the board, developing your pieces, moving them into active positions, and planning with fewer pieces remaining.
