Board Checkers is a modern digital version of the traditional game of Checkers
The main objective in Board Checkers is to remove all of your opponent's pieces or make them unable to make any legal moves in order to become the winner.
The game uses an 8x8 square board with 64 alternating light and dark squares. Each player has 12 pieces, usually distinguished by color.
Each player places their 12 pieces on the dark squares of the three rows closest to them.
The pieces move diagonally forward one space on the dark squares.
If the diagonal square ahead contains an opponent's piece and the next square after that is empty, you can "jump" over that piece to capture it and remove it from the board.
If, after capturing, your piece can continue to capture another piece, you must perform that series of consecutive captures on the same turn.
When a piece moves to the opposite end of the board, it is "promoted" to the King.
The King can move and capture the opponent's pieces diagonally forward and backward.
The game ends when either the opponent or you runs out of pieces or cannot make any legal moves. The remaining player is the winner.
Have fun playing with Board Checkers!
